I have found a guide who wants to do a birding excursion: Carlos Henrique. He shows me many birds in the more rural area of Salesopolis and Mogi das Cruzes. The excursion was from 6am to 6pm, and yielded a total of 67 species. I knew some species from the US, but most were new to me. It is already 12 years later when I write this text and I notice that I have photographed many birds beautifully. That is often different with a birding trip. The most special photo was of the Common Potoo (Nyctibius griseus) sleeping quietly on a branch.
